Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with customers as an outgoing, friendly, and knowledgeable Service Technician, diagnosing and solving HVAC issues, including maintenance, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Work on a variety of commercial equipment such as air conditioning systems, fan coils, air handling units, chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, Makeup Air Units, ERVs, WSHPs, HVAC Control Systems, Refrigeration Equipment, and exhaust systems.
- Provide honest, fact-based advice to business owners or maintenance managers to assist in decision-making.
- Proactively identify and address small problems before they escalate into costly repairs.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while being a supportive team member.
- Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA and EPA requirements.
- Share your expertise and mentor those new to the trade.
- Maintain clear communication, complete all jobs and paperwork accurately, neatly, and on time.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Commercial HVAC service experience (REQUIRED)
- An associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school is a plus but not mandatory.
- A strong commitment to doing the job right the first time and pride in your work.
- A dedication to lifelong learning and professional growth.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- CFC Certification - Type I and II, Universal is required.
- Proficiency with technology, including working from an iPad and professional email communication.
