Job Title:

Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job Type:

Full-Time (7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with flexibility for nights and rotating on-call)

Salary:

$35 - $40 per hour based on experience

Job Description:

Responsible for servicing and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial settings, diagnosing issues, developing repair plans, ordering parts, documenting activities, and maintaining schedules and EPA logs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and controls.
• Handle electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostats.
• Maintain various HVAC equipment types.
• Order parts and maintain truck supplies.
• Document activities and installed equipment.
• Track maintenance schedules and EPA logs.
• Operate lifts and ladders safely.
• Diagnose service issues and calibrate systems.
• Explain evaluations and solutions to customers.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC.
• Class Three Freon License and EPA Card.
• Texas Registration.
• Knowledge of controls and HVAC equipment.
• Valid TWIC card and safety training.
• Ability to pass background and drug tests.
• Experience with Service Software and own tools.
• Responsible for company tools.
• Preferred certifications: OSHA-10/30, Lift certification.
• Refrigeration, electric motors, heating units, and other technical experience preferred.
