Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking an experienced HVAC technician with a Journeyman license to install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. The role includes preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring safe operation of chiller and refrigeration equipment.

Applicants should hold EPA 608 Universal Certification, possess strong communication skills, and maintain a valid driver's license. Ongoing training and safety compliance are emphasized within this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License
• Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.
• Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Valid Driver's license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including vacuuming, cleaning, changing filters, and oiling parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems; diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $56 - $65 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
