Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced HVAC Journeyman to join our full-service team. The role covers installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including chiller and refrigeration equipment.

Candidates must have 5+ years of field experience, an EPA 608 Certification, and the ability to read blueprints. Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Participates in ongoing training to keep updated on newest equipment and software for HVAC.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Read blueprints.
• Valid Driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $48.41 - $56.95 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
