Job summary

Allied Mechanical is hiring an HVAC Service Technician for diagnostic, repair, and maintenance across commercial and industrial systems. This full‑time role covers rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps, with emphasis on safety and high‑quality service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. Valid driver's license and travel to multiple job sites required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical training a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role.
• EPA 608 certification.
• Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to keep systems running at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults across HVAC equipment.
• Repair or replace components including motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Read and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Keep clients and teammates informed on service findings and next steps.
• Log service work accurately, including parts used and system condition.
• Follow all safety, code, and company compliance requirements.

What You'll Do

• NATE certification or equivalent
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment
