R. Brooks Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Service Technician in Maryland to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems for clients who rely on dependable service. The role emphasizes thorough problem-solving, adherence to safety, and delivering high-quality workmanship.

The position offers a base hourly pay range ($27.00–$36.00) with benefits and a company vehicle, reflecting a professional work environment that values craftsmanship and reliable on-site service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HVAC service experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues on commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, heat pumps, VRF/VRV, air handlers, exhaust).
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment (filters, coils, lubrication, belts, refrigerant checks).
• Work with DDC/BAS systems (e.g., Trane, Johnson Controls, Honeywell) to adjust setpoints, troubleshoot alarms, and verify control sequences.

As an HVAC Service Technician at R. Brooks Mechanical, you’ll tackle diagnosing and repairing complex heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems for clients who genuinely depend on you. Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues on commercial systems including RTUs, split systems, heat pumps, VRF/VRV systems, air handlers, and exhaust systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including filter changes, coil cleaning, lubrication, belt replacement, and refrigerant checks.
• Work with DDC and BAS systems (e.g., Trane, Johnson Controls, Honeywell) to adjust setpoints, troubleshoot alarms, and verify control sequences.
