Job summary

Gentry Service Group in Swannanoa, NC is seeking a Commercial Service Manager to lead the commercial service department. This on-site role offers ownership, profitability growth, and a path to influence the future of a family-owned company serving Western North Carolina since 1963.

You will manage operations, drive revenue, hire and develop a high-performing team, and ensure high-quality service across the company with strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven HVAC service management experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and excellent at follow-through.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Solid computer skills (MS Office and service/dispatch systems).
• Motivated, top-performer mindset who thrives on challenge and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the commercial service department - managing daily operations, dispatching, and technician performance.
• Drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of commercial HVAC technicians.
• Oversee service agreements, warranty claims, inventory, and fleet management.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while reviewing quotes and ensuring timely, high-quality work.
• Collaborate with installation and residential teams to create seamless service across the company.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (Full-time office/field leadership role)
