Carolina Commercial Systems (CCS) is a full-service mechanical contractor serving the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill area. We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Senior Service Technician with at least 3 years of industry experience to join our Commercial Service Team. Pay: $30 – $40.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment according to manufacturer standards.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and testing on equipment covered by maintenance contracts.
• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Record and report service details, including parts used, time cards, and repair notes.
• Maintain communication with the Service Supervisor regarding assignments and schedule changes.
• Provide professional on-site customer service and owner training as needed.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and tools according to policy.
• Participate in on-call rotations for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ensure safety practices are followed to protect yourself, coworkers, customers, and property.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to meet all physical job requirements.
• EPA refrigerant certification (NATE certification is a plus but not required).
• Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Strong technical knowledge, including familiarity with Carrier controls, Trane control products, and DDC technology (preferred).
• Reliability in reporting to work on time and completing daily assignments.
• Professionalism when interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Willingness to complete OSHA 10 and 30 training (provided by CCS).
• Successful completion of a drug screen, background check, and physical readiness testing prior to hire.
