Job summary

Sylvester & Cockrum is seeking a Commercial HVAC Sales Executive to expand our preventative maintenance and commercial service business across the Southeast from Charlotte, NC. You will develop new accounts, manage relationships with facility managers and owners, and drive recurring revenue through proactive maintenance programs.

The role offers a base salary up to $75,000 with uncapped commissions and a car allowance, gas card, and company devices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience
• Commercial HVAC, mechanical, construction, industrial, or facilities services sales preferred
• Experience selling preventive maintenance agreements or service contracts is a plus
• Proven ability to generate new business and close sales
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently with operations and service teams
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial customers through networking, cold calling, referrals, and relationship building
• Generate new preventive maintenance agreement opportunities
• Meet with customers to evaluate HVAC equipment and service needs
• Prepare estimates and proposals for preventive maintenance agreements
• Develop quotes for repair and service projects
• Build long-term relationships with managers and owners
• Identify opportunities for additional repair or capital projects
• Present proposals and negotiate service agreements
• Coordinate with operations and service teams for a seamless customer experience
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet customers and prospects
