Carrier Enterprise in Florida seeks a Commercial Sales Engineer Trainee to support the sales team with technical expertise and customer solutions. You will work with engineers and contractors, prepare quotes and submittals, and gain hands-on training in commercial HVAC applications.

This full- and part-time role offers on-the-job training, relocation to Florida, and a pathway toward a sales engineering career with Carrier Corporation.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Willing to relocate in Florida.
• Ability to attend out of state company paid training.
• Experience in Commercial HVAC Engineering or Applications is a plus but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Seeks new business opportunities by responding to sales leads.
• Supports new and existing accounts.
• Introduction of new products to Engineers and Mechanical Contractors.
• Complete quotes, submittals and takes offs based on plan reviews and specifications.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to complete the sale.
• Extensive interaction with Engineers, Contractors, Manufacturers, and sales team via phone & e-mail.
• Travel as needed with Sales Team to support presentations and trade show activities.
• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications.
• Assist with training as needed to our Commercial customers.
• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
• Maintain professional business relationships with target or assigned accounts.
• Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
• Identify and communicate customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
