Job summary

Restaurant Service Solutions is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration/HVAC Technician to join our team for a full-time on-site role. The position involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems across walk-in coolers, ice machines, and hot/cold equipment.

We provide a company truck, cell phone, on-call rotation, and opportunities for advancement. Training and development are emphasized to keep skills current and ensure high-quality service for our clients.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Operate hand tools, torches, welders, gauges and meters.
• Evacuate, recharge and start systems.
• Perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Understand refrigeration controls wiring and control software.
• Attend manufacturer training and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Work with a variety of hand tools, torches, welders, gauges and meters
• Evacuate, charge and starting systems
• Perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Familiar with control software and wiring of refrigeration controls
• Demonstrate efficient and effective problem-solving skills
• Attend periodic manufacturer training classes
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to handle physical workload of at least 50 LBS
• Must have a can-do, "I'll figure it out" attitude
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers
• Maintain organization of vehicle and company tools
• Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
