Job summary

Three7Nine Enterprise Management is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support day-to-day operations under the Chief Engineer. You will answer calls, repair equipment, perform inspections and preventive maintenance while following safety policies and PPE requirements.

This role covers electrical, plumbing, commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, boilers and chillers, with duties including meters reading and project work. Graveyard shift hours are 11:00 p.m.

Qualifications

  • Commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience required.
  • Minimum of three years in maintenance or facilities, HVAC/refrigeration, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with boom lifts/scissor lifts.
  • Must obtain forklift/heavy equipment certification within the first year.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with tenants, Team Members, and vendors.
  • Available for emergency call-ins, possible weekend and overnight shifts.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and Team Members.
  • Repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, boilers, chillers, and related equipment.
  • Read meters, gauges, and testing instruments to identify issues and determine repairs.
  • Document repairs and preventive maintenance accurately.
  • Coordinate electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other departmental projects.
  • Landscaping/sprinkler maintenance and carpentry/plumbing/electrical tasks.
  • Perform safety compliance and OSHA guidelines adherence; follow safety meetings and PPE requirements.
  • Graveyard hours: 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Summary

  • Under the guidance and direction of the Chief Engineer, our Facilities Engineer supports the Facilities team during day-to-day shift operations. The Facilities Engineer will answer calls, repair equipment, complete inspections and facility walkthroughs, perform preventative maintenance, and complete projects as assigned. The Facilities Engineer practices and assures all safety precautions are followed while always wearing appropriate PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Provides outstanding customer service to guests and all other Team Members.
  • Responsible for timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, boilers, chillers, and any other pieces of equipment that would need service.
  • Responsible for reading meters, gauges, and other testing instruments accurately and effectively in order to detect and identify problems and determine the appropriate path for repairs.
  • Responsible for all timely and accurate documentation of repairs and preventive maintenance reports.
  • Perform departmental technical projects which will include, but not be limited to, electrical and mechanical equipment repair or other duties as required.
  • Landscaping/sprinkler maintenance.
  • Perform carpentry repairs.
  • Perform plumbing repairs.
  • Perform electrical repairs.
  • Perform masonry work.
  • Requires technical knowledge of the construction and maintenance work involved, and the ability to use cost-estimating methods.
  • Must be able to follow safety guidelines and make sure all OSHA safety guidelines are adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
  • Presents a positive image of the company to guests and vendors and assists them as required.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Skills/Abilities

  • Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration: Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems is required.
  • Technical Maintenance Skills: Proficient in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, mechanical systems, carpentry, masonry, kitchen equipment, solar, painting, welding, flooring, doors and locks, and general facility repairs.
  • Diagnostics & Tools: Able to read meters, gauges, blueprints, and use testing instruments to troubleshoot and identify issues accurately.
  • Safety & Compliance: Knowledgeable in OSHA safety standards and proper PPE use.
  • Customer Service: Provides excellent service to guests, vendors, and Team Members with clear, professional communication.
  • Problem-Solving & Time Management: Strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and effective task prioritization.
  • Teamwork & Professionalism: Works well with engineering leadership and maintains a positive, professional image.

  • Knowledgeable in 4 or more disciplines: HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electronics, carpentry, painting, diesel systems, hydraulics, water distribution or treatment, fire suppression systems, kitchen equipment, solar, metal fabrication, landscaping, heavy equipment operation, or general trades.
  • Regularly mobile and requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, overhead reaching, ladder climbing, and hand/eye coordination.
