Job summary

Total Comfort Group is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems for retail and commercial clients. You will work independently in the field and provide professional customer service at each site.

The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety, with on-call rotations including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Commercial HVAC/R service experience
• EPA Universal Certification (Required)
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documents

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Install HVAC/R systems, components, and replacement equipment
• Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and controls
• Work on commercial HVAC systems ranging from 1 to 50+ tons
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues
• Complete work orders, service reports, and required documentation accurately
