Job summary

Total Comfort Group is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems for retail and commercial customers. You will work independently in the field, delivering professional service and solutions to customers.

The role requires experience with RTUs, boilers, controls, and a strong customer-service mindset to support ongoing maintenance and safety standards. On-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of Commercial HVAC/R Service experience.
• Graduate of an accredited HVAC technical training program.
• EPA Universal Certification (Required)
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems, Refrigeration, Electrical troubleshooting, Boilers, HVAC controls and control systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documents

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Install HVAC/R systems, components, and replacement equipment.
• Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and controls.
• Work on commercial HVAC systems ranging from 1 to 50+ tons.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Recommend repair and replacement solutions to customers.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and required documentation accurately.
