Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of Commercial HVAC/R Service experience

- Strong knowledge of: Commercial HVAC systems, Refrigeration systems, Electrical troubleshooting, Boilers, HVAC controls and control systems
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Install HVAC/R systems, components, and replacement equipment
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, refrigeration systems, boilers, and controls
- Work on commercial HVAC systems ranging from 1 to 50+ tons
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues

- Participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

We are seeking a motivated Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients’ environments remain comfortable, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. - Install, service, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to optimize performance and extend lifespan.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute installations and repairs accurately.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems involving building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, plumbing connections, and HVAC controls.
- Conduct equipment repairs using hand tools and specialized mechanical tools while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance and client records.
- Proven experience as a service technician in commercial HVAC/R environments with construction experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and appliances repair.
- Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately; familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) is a plus.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters; capable of troubleshooting electrical systems effectively.
- Experience with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems; knowledge of mechanical systems repair is essential.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred for van driving responsibilities.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
