Job summary

Benedict Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician HVAC-R in Wisconsin. You will maintain, repair, and install refrigeration, HVAC, ventilation systems, and commercial food service equipment for commercial clients only.

You’ll work independently with some team input and report to the Service Manager. The role requires familiarity with reading schematics, performing precise diagnostics, and meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum one year of related refrigeration/HVAC experience required, two-years preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required; valid Class D driver's license and insurability required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and makes modifications to commercial mechanical equipment.
• Reads and understands technical drawings to repair/maintain equipment.
• Troubleshoots complex problems where repair is not obvious.
• Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.
• Uses a computerized system to record work progress and history.
• Safely operates and maintains a company vehicle and tools.
