Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our HVAC-R Service/Install team. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC-R systems, with opportunities to train and mentor other technicians.

Successful candidates may receive up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Starting pay ranges from $30-$47+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• HVAC-R troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ability to install and start up commercial HVAC-R systems.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from crew foreman.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC-R units.
• Install commercial HVAC-R systems, ductwork, and start-up.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of commercial HVAC units.
• Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and safety standards.
• On-call duties as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Starting pay ranges from $30-$47+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• HVAC-R system troubleshooting and repair of units.
• Installation of commercial HVAC-R systems, ductwork, specialty equipment and start up.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of commercial HVAC units
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and maintain a safe work environment.
• On Call duties as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Technical school degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience but not required.
• 3-5+ years experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and take direction from crew foreman.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be EPA certified or willing to take the EPA exam within a month of starting date.
• NATE certification or similar, DDC/Pneumatic control experience, boilers license, and refrigeration background is desired but not required.
• No fear of heights.
• Lift 50+ lbs.
• Sit, stand, and climb stairs.
