Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technicians to join our Minnesota team. You’ll troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, with on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.

Successful candidates can earn a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 and benefit from a competitive package including health, life, and retirement plans. This hands-on role requires safety awareness and a willingness to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• 3+ years of HVAC-R refrigeration experience.
• EPA certification.
• Technical school degree preferred, but not required.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working at heights.
• Willing to learn and follow supervisor directions.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
• Start-up of installed systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and preventative services.
• Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and safety standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
• Perform start-up of installed systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance and preventative services.
• Ensure compliance with HVAC codes and company safety standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

• Control systems, boiler license not required but a plus.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in varying temperatures.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing physical tasks.
• Strong willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.

Pay Range

$30–$45+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Physical Demands

This role requires regular use of hands, talking, hearing, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, and kneeling. Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
