Job summary

Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated HVAC-R Service/Install Technicians to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on commercial HVAC-R systems. The role offers up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus and starting pay ranges from $30–$47+ per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include installation, routine maintenance, and ensuring safety and compliance with codes. Candidates should have EPA/NATE credentials where possible and be prepared for on-call duties

Qualifications

• Technical school degree desired or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years experience preferred.
• EPA certification required or willing to take exam within 1 month of start date.
• NATE certification or similar, DDC/Pneumatic control experience, boilers license, and refrigeration background is desired but not required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of commercial HVAC units

Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our HVAC‑R Service/Install Technicians are individuals who are skilled and wanting to grow within their career. This position involves performing HVAC‑R system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC‑R systems while providing insight and training to other technicians.

Successful candidates will be eligible for up to a $1,000 sign‑on bonus!

Starting pay ranges from $30‑$47+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• HVAC‑R system troubleshooting and repair of units.
• Installation of commercial HVAC‑R systems, ductwork, specialty equipment and start up.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of commercial HVAC units
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and maintain a safe work environment.
• On Call duties as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Technical school degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience but not required.
• 3‑5+ years experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and take direction from crew foreman.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be EPA certified or willing to take the EPA exam within a month of starting date.
• NATE certification or similar, DDC/Pneumatic control experience, boilers license, and refrigeration background is desired but not required.
• No fear of heights.
• Lift 50+ lbs.
• Sit, stand, and climb stairs.
