Job summary
Elliott-Lewis Corporation in Whippany, NJ is hiring a Service Technician for commercial HVAC/R systems. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, service, and minor repairs on commercial units, and be ready for after-hours standby in rotation.

Qualifications
- EPA Type II certification required and relevant HVAC/R experience
- Knowledge of DC controls, pneumatics, and refrigerant systems
- Experience with chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled) preferred
- Ability to diagnose electrical and refrigeration circuits
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Willing to work stand-by on a rotating after-hours schedule
Responsibilities
- Manage onsite repair, maintenance, and test tasks
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Diagnose and repair electrical and refrigeration circuits in HVAC/R systems
- Repair minor plumbing and appliance problems as needed
- Diagnose, repair, and/or replace hot water heaters
- Tie workflow to schedule and service chillers, valves, and water flow devices
- Service reciprocating, scroll, screw, and centrifugal compressors
- Install, service and repair analog and digital control systems
