Job summary

Armstrong Air & Electric is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of commercial HVAC projects in Florida. You will manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and vendor coordination while maintaining strong communication with customers and field teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (RTUs, AHUs, VRF/VRV, chillers, boilers).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects from contract award through final completion and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate HVAC installation activities with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Review drawings and contract documents for coordination issues.
• Utilize Procore and Autodesk tools to manage project documentation and communication.
• Track change orders, invoicing, and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Maintain professional relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and vendors.
• Ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
