Job summary
Climate Systems, LLC is seeking a reliable Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician in Hickory, NC, to perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on commercial HVAC systems. You will identify issues, support customers with professional service, and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment.
The role requires 3–7 years of HVAC maintenance experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read technical manuals.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years experience in HVAC maintenance or related field with commercial experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of HVAC system components and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and equipmentmaintenance specifications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- EPA certification or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on commercial HVAC equipment.
- Conduct basic diagnostics to identify early signs of wear, malfunction, or safety concerns.
- Document findings, recommendations, and service details for billing and reporting.
- Communicate clearly with customers during maintenance visits and respond professionally to questions.
- Assist with scheduling maintenance visits and coordinating follow-up service as needed.
- Support leadership by promoting team goals and safe work practices.
