Summary/Objective:

Assist the team in the maintenance and/or replacement of Commercial HVAC systems and electrical components for Commercial Buildings.

Essential Functions:

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical control systems, especially HVAC
• Master functions and settings of PLCs, controls, and devices
• Understand control circuitry and mechanical devices
• Quickly identify faults, make timely corrections, and restore equipment to operation
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Perform physical tasks such as moving heavy equipment/machinery, climbing ladders, and repetitive motions
• Properly use various power tools and hand tools
• Drive company truck when needed
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and HVAC components, including installing new parts

Supervisory Responsibility:

None

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in HVAC or general maintenance, or equivalent vocational training and experience
• Ability to follow specific instructions and perform various duties
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks as required
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Availability to work scheduled hours

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Employees may work in varying temperatures, both indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather, and in areas with noise, fumes, or confined spaces. Physical demands include handling heavy machinery, climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working at heights.

Qualifications:

• Prior military experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED
