Job Description

Penn State Dickinson Law Carlisle is seeking a full-time HVAC Maintenance Mechanic. Responsibilities include:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair building heating, cooling, and water systems.
  • Service and repair air handling equipment, coils, filters, and belts.
  • Perform repairs on radiators, converters, and radiation units, including system modifications.
  • Assist external mechanics with complex HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
  • Maintain electrical and pneumatic controls, circuits, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
  • Perform plumbing repairs, install electrical circuits, and lighting fixtures.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment, including snow removal, landscaping, and setup for events.
  • Respond to emergency repairs and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Requirements
  • Equivalent of 1-3 years trades training, including shop mathematics and technical drawings.
  • DER-approved Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification.
  • Over 1 year up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and successful motor vehicle records check.
Work Schedule

6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday off.
