Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, a world-leading HVAC solutions provider, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Journeyman Service Technician to deliver expert field service and customer-focused solutions.

You’ll inspect, diagnose, repair, install and calibrate HVAC equipment in commercial settings, while adhering to safety standards and regulations. A strong technical background and excellent communication skills are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years practical HVAC industry experience.
• 6+ months practical experience with chillers.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain air‑conditioning and HVAC systems for efficient operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units.
• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment including thermostatic controls.
• Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal controls.
• Assist in HVAC system planning and design.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with management to uphold safety and operational standards.
