Job summary
Service Experts is seeking an Installer Helper to assist with the installation of heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment in residential settings. You will work under supervision, assisting the Installer or Lead Installer and ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.
The role emphasizes strong customer service, physical ability to handle equipment, and readiness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0 to 2 years’ HVAC experience preferred.
- EPA and safety certifications required.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Assist Installer or Lead Installer in installing HVAC equipment in customer homes.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and company requirements.
- Install ducts and duct fittings as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Help with delivery and removal of equipment.
- Maintain proper use and care of company vehicles and tools.
- Complete paperwork neatly and promptly.
- Represent the company professionally in all business matters.
