Job summary

Service Experts is looking for an Assistant Installer to support residential and light commercial HVAC installations under direct supervision. You’ll help with equipment setup, ductwork, and accessories while delivering excellent service and maintaining safety.

You’ll also assist with paperwork and uphold the company’s professional image. The role requires basic HVAC knowledge, EPA/safety certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional HVAC training preferred.
• Must meet licensing or certification requirements for the area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Basic knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate/use tools.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and communicate effectively.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.
• Willing to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Installer/Lead Installer in installing HVAC equipment in homes.
• Help install ducts, fittings, and related accessories per specs.
• Support delivery and removal of equipment for installations.
• Maintain neat, accurate paperwork and professional conduct.
• Ensure vehicles and tools are clean, maintained, and accounted for.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and customer-focused service.
