Job summary

Spurk HVAC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Commercial HVAC Installer with 3+ years of experience to join our family-run, non-union team. You will install commercial HVAC systems from blueprints and specs, working on projects across the Pittsburgh region and collaborating with field teams to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Experience with ductwork, piping, and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical plans.
• EPA 608 Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Install and secure ductwork, piping, controls.
• Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job specifications.
• Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
• Assist with equipment start-ups, testing, and system operation.

About the Position

As a Commercial HVAC Installer, you'll work on commercial installation projects throughout the Pittsburgh area. You'll install HVAC equipment and related components while working from blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications. This position is ideal for an experienced installer who can work effectively as part of a commercial field team, understands proper installation practices, and takes pride in completing quality work.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 3 or more years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Experience working with commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical plans
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC installation practices
• EPA 608 Certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history
