Job summary

Havtech is seeking a Commercial HVAC Field Service Engineer to perform service and maintenance on major HVAC equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair, and retrofit environmental-control systems, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a Journeyman HVAC license (MD/VA), EPA certification, and 5+ years of field experience, with a valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning with 5 years related experience.
• EPA Certification.
• HVAC Journeyman license in MD or Virginia.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to join UA Local 602 or UA Local 486.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a direct customer contact on assigned projects.
• Performs servicing and repair of HVAC equipment, following blueprints or specs.
• Conducts preventative maintenance, site surveys, and installations as needed.
• Documents work, parts, and labor; maintains files and paperwork daily.
• Travels to customer sites; overtime and occasional overnight travel may be required.
