Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and building control systems.
• Travel between multiple facilities to ensure equipment and building systems are operating efficiently and safely.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing equipment components.
• Monitor system performance, record operational readings, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal equipment function.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, manage inventory and tools, and coordinate maintenance activities with outside contractors.

As a Mobile Engineer 2, you will be part of the Facilities Engineering & Operations team supporting multiple commercial facilities throughout the Akron and Cleveland, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a safety-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $35/hour (Contract-to-Hire)
