Job summary

Yellowstone Local represents White Oak Mechanical in Louisville, KY, seeking a Commercial HVAC Duct Installer to join our team. You will install commercial ductwork and HVAC components on new construction and renovation projects, reading blueprints and coordinating with other trades.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Experience installing commercial sheet metal ductwork.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work safely on ladders, lifts, and rooftops.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial sheet metal ductwork, duct fittings, diffusers, grilles, and HVAC components.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and installation layouts.
• Measure, position, assemble, and install commercial duct systems.
• Assist with setting and installing commercial HVAC equipment.
• Install or assist with refrigerant lines and condensate piping.
• Coordinate installation work with other trades and project team members.
• Complete punch-list items and support project closeout.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Work alongside another installer to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

White Oak Mechanical is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Duct Installer to join our team in Louisville, KY!

We're looking for someone who knows their way around commercial ductwork, can confidently read mechanical blueprints, and takes pride in getting the job done right.

You’ll work alongside another experienced installer on commercial new construction and renovation projects, including healthcare facilities.

This is a commercial installation position, not a residential HVAC service role.

Your New Role

• As a Commercial HVAC Duct Installer, you’ll:

• Install commercial sheet metal ductwork, duct fittings, diffusers, grilles, and HVAC components

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience

• Strong experience installing commercial sheet metal ductwork

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints

• Experience using hand tools and power tools for HVAC installation

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites

• Ability to work safely on ladders, lifts, and rooftops

• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and ability to work well with a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPA Section 608 Certification

• Kentucky Journeyman HVAC License

• Commercial healthcare construction experience

• Sheet metal fabrication experience

• OSHA 10 Certification
