Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems is seeking a Boiler Technician in Bakersfield to perform maintenance, tests, and repairs on boiler controls and systems. You will follow preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot across boiler components.

Candidates should have a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling, 5+ years of commercial AC experience, and a valid driver’s license. EMS experience a plus; position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completed 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling.
• 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
• Available for emergency call outs.
• Team player able to work with other trades and client staff.
• Rule 1415 certified.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• EMS experience with Staefa/Siemens is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs on boilers and equipment.
• Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
• Complete annual boiler tuning and inspections.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
• Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.

Job Summary

Mesa Energy Systems has an immediate need for a Boiler Technician. The Boiler Technician follows preventative maintenance, troubleshoots, tests and repairs all boiler controls and system components.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain necessary operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and associated equipment.
• Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
• Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
• Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 4-year apprenticeship program or technical schooling
• Must have 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience
• Must be available for emergency call outs
• Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and client’s staff.
• Rule 1415 certified

• Valid driver's license in good standing

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range: $29.31 - $56.18 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
