B&I Contractors, Inc. is expanding its Commercial HVAC team in Florida.

The Commercial HVAC Account Executive will cultivate client relationships, pursue new opportunities, and deliver accurate estimates and compelling proposals as part of a growing, employee-owned organization. Qualified candidates bring relevant HVAC experience, strong communication, and the ability to work within a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new opportunities and accounts to fit B&I’s service model.
• Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts.

• Provide solutions with accurate estimates and professional proposals using our software tools.
• Attend job walks and turnover meetings as necessary.
• Oversee renewal of service agreements and ensure SOP adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect new opportunities and accounts strategically to fit within B&I’s service model.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships within assigned accounts.
• Respond to customer’s requests timely and professionally.
• Provide solutions to customer’s needs with accurate estimates and professional proposals using our software tools.
• Maintain all activity within North Boundary and update regularly for forecasting purposes.
• Obtain proper approval from authorized customer representatives and submit booking documents to Service Sales Coordinator.
• Attend job walks and turnover meetings as necessary.
• Responsible for renewal of all assigned service agreements.
• Adhere to Service Department SOP’s at all times.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Two to Five years HVAC Service Department and/or sales experience.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong verbal, written and computer communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Clean Driving Record, Drug Test, and Background check are required.
• Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction); use hands, fingers, arms and legs fully; lift up to 10 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to see well (either naturally or with correction; must be able to hear and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.

Must use hands, fingers, arms, and legs fully; kneel, crouch and crawl; climb and balance on ladders and scaffolds; climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift, stoop.

This position requires the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. Manual material handling must be performed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and company policies to minimize risk of injury.
