Responsibilities

Looking for a hands-on career where you can learn a skilled trade and grow?

Nelbud is hiring Commercial Hood Cleaning Technicians to join our Lexington -based remote crew, supported by our Louisville shop. You’ll travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area to clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems for restaurants and facilities.

This is a physically demanding, overnight field position involving pressure washing, ladder climbing, rooftop work, equipment setup, and industrial cleaning.

New technicians begin in our structured 30-60-90 Day KEC Step Program, where you’ll build technical skills and work toward advancement opportunities and additional hourly compensation as you complete training, testing, and performance milestones.

Shift start times vary based on customer schedules, typically beginning between 6:00 PM and midnight.

What You'll Do

Experience That Transfers Well

Hood cleaning experience is not required. Experience in construction, landscaping, pressure washing, roofing, HVAC, duct cleaning, pest control, restoration, manufacturing, warehouse work, military service, or other physically demanding work can translate well to this role.
