Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician

Join our expanding team at S&K Building Services as a Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician! Support high-rise window cleaning operations using rope descent systems, with opportunities for advancement and internal promotion.

Location: Louisville, Kentucky | 3200 7th Street Rd, Suite 102, Louisville, KY 40216

Responsibilities

1. Clean windows and glass surfaces using non-abrasive tools.
2. Use rope descent systems safely to access and clean high-rise windows.
3. Communicate with site contacts throughout the job and secure customer approval.
4. Transport, set up, and break down water-fed poles and cleaning equipment.
5. Ensure the work area is left clean and residue-free.
6. Maintain the company vehicle and ensure it is stocked with supplies.
7. Participate in weekly safety meetings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high-rise window cleaning with rope descent systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Reliable transportation to work sites.
• Professional appearance and adherence to dress code.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Comfort with working at heights from 5ft to 40ft, with safety training provided.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong time-management skills and team collaboration.
• High ethical standards and professional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or authorization in Rope Descent Systems (RDS).
• SPRAT certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
