Job summary

Maximum Handyman, LLC is a Maryland-based company providing handyman and repair services to commercial facilities. The hired craftsman will operate on the road in a company vehicle, performing diverse repair tasks and ensuring quality workmanship.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and at least 3 years of experience in multiple repair areas. A professional appearance and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean record.
• Ability to operate a large service van.
• Proven troubleshooting and technical skills.
• Experience in multiple repair areas (3+ years).
• Fluent English speaking and United States work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-the-road repair and maintenance work for commercial clients.
• Execute repairs in asphalt, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and finishing tasks.
• Maintain company tools, vehicle, and equipment in clean, organized condition.
• Communicate professionally with clients and follow safety rules.

Ideal skills include knowledge of repair for (but not limited to):

• Asphalt and concrete repair/patching and brick/cinder block work.
• Ballasts and light electrical work
• Laminate fabrication/repair for cabinetry and counters.
• Caulk, spackle, painting, grouting, and other finishing work.
• Ceramic, VCT, ceiling, and other tile work
• Commercial doors and hardware, including closers, panic bars, etc.
• Framing, drywall, FRP
• Fences, installing new drop ceiling grid, cove base molding.
• Flushometers and other light plumbing
• Moving/hauling, pest control, demolition, glasswork
• Welding (a plus)

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Safe driver with a clean record that can operate a large service van.
• Clean criminal record
• No substance abuse.
• Ability to work independently/ unsupervised.
• Professional appearance
• Excellent professional communication skills
• Proven troubleshooting/technical skills
• Experienced in multiple areas of repair.
• Tech-savvy (job "paperwork" is managed on a smartphone)
• Experience (3 years minimum)
• Fluent English speaking
• United States work authorization.
• Safety minded. (Safety toe shoes are mandatory, and PPE as required per task)
• Cleanliness and organization of company tools, equipment, and vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour to start
