Job summary

Maximum Handyman, LLC is seeking a full-time, on-the-road handyman/repair technician for the mid-Atlantic region. You will operate a company van, perform diverse repair tasks at commercial facilities, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining tools and reports on a smartphone.

You must have at least 3 years of experience, a clean driving record and fluent English. The role offers a steady schedule, bi-weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement within a growing team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of repair tasks at commercial sites as directed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in clean, safe condition.

Ideal skills include knowledge of repair for (but not limited to):

• Asphalt and concrete repair/patching and brick/cinder block work.
• Ballasts and light electrical work
• Laminate fabrication/repair for cabinetry and counters.
• Caulk, spackle, painting, grouting, and other finishing work.
• Ceramic, VCT, ceiling, and other tile work
• Commercial doors and hardware, including closers, panic bars, etc.
• Framing, drywall, FRP
• Fences, installing new drop ceiling grid, cove base molding.
• Flushometers and other light plumbing
• Moving/hauling, pest control, demolition, glasswork
• Welding (a plus)

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Safe driver with a clean record that can operate a large service van.
• Clean criminal record
• No substance abuse.
• Ability to work independently/ unsupervised.
• Professional appearance
• Excellent professional communication skills
• Proven troubleshooting/technical skills
• Experienced in multiple areas of repair.
• Tech-savvy (job "paperwork" is managed on a smartphone)
• Experience (3 years minimum)
• Fluent English speaking
• United States work authorization.
• Safety minded. (Safety toe shoes are mandatory, and PPE as required per task)
• Cleanliness and organization of company tools, equipment, and vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour to start
