Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company seeks a hands-on Commercial Grounds Maintenance crew member in Jacksonville to support year-round commercial landscaping upkeep. You will assist with training, perform planting, digging, and general cleanup, and help manage equipment and tools in daily operations.

Key duties include loading materials, working in all weather, and contributing to snow removal when needed. Valid NC Driver’s license preferred; background check required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Crew Leader in training on all aspects of commercial grounds maintenance.
• Digging, planting, raking, watering, and general cleanup of landscapes.
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
• Ensure collection and inventory of company-owned equipment and tools daily.
• Assist with snow removal operations during winter months, as required.
