Job summary

Florida Construction Connection, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to oversee commercial glass and glazing projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate design, fabrication and field teams to deliver on-time, quality results while managing budgets and schedules.

You will work closely with clients, general contractors and vendors, ensuring safety and compliance, and producing thorough project documentation and closeout records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial glass and glazing construction; oversee projects from award through completion.
• Technical knowledge of glazing systems; review and coordinate shop drawings, fabrication drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules, monitoring material and labor costs, keeping projects on track.
• Experience reviewing contract scope, coordinating vendor/subcontractor buyout, managing purchase and change orders.
• Coordinate fabrication, material deliveries and installation activities with field superintendents.
• Experience managing submittals, RFIs, project documentation and permitting coordination as required.
• Familiarity with payment applications, schedules of values and vendor/subcontractor payment review.
• Proactive approach to jobsite safety, quality control, inspections and closeout, including punch work, warranties and as-built documentation.
• Strong leadership and communication for collaboration with clients, general contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a detail-oriented, proactive management style.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Project, along with relevant construction management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
