Job summary

MFort Security Services is seeking a professional and reliable Parttime 1st shift Concierge Security Officer to join our Evanston team. You will maintain a safe, welcoming environment at a commercial property, using strong customer service and communication skills to interact with residents, guests, and clients.

The ideal candidate has prior concierge/front desk security experience, can multitask, stay composed under pressure, and pass a drug screening plus background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 2 years of commercial or front desk security experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Able to work independently.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management.
• Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure environment.
• Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns.
• Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures.
• Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors.
• Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Shift: Monday- Saturday 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM


• Pay Rate: $19.50/HR
