Hoxton Circle seeks a Manager, Commercial Finance in New York to own financials for a portfolio of clients, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close.

You will review MSAs and contract terms with clients, ensuring compliance and driving staffing plans, pricing, vendor negotiations, and client negotiations.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years total experience including at least 2 years at Senior Associate level or above in client or commercial finance within a media, creative, or PR agency environment.
• Media agency experience is a strong advantage to understand media economics quickly.
• Experience reading and applying contract terms in a client-facing setting.

We’re partnering with a media and marketing agency network on the search for a Manager, Commercial Finance to join its commercial finance team in New York.

While lots of the industry is pulling back, this team is growing, and there's real opportunity for upward mobility. You’ll own a portfolio of five clients and will get involved in new business as it comes in. The role mixes client-facing commercial work (contract terms, pricing, staffing plans, vendor negotiations) with the core finance of the seat.

What you’ll be doing:

• Own the financials behind your client portfolio: revenue, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, journal entries, and month-end close
• Work through MSA and contract terms with clients, and make sure each account stays compliant with them
• Build and track staff plans, utilization, and pricing across your accounts
• Handle the vendor side, negotiating rates and terms with outside partners
• Join client-facing commercial conversations, including discussions with client procurement teams
• Support client contract compliance and financial audits, pulling together documentation with internal teams
• Partner with the Directors on complex negotiations and help put together commercial proposals for new and existing clients

What we’re looking for:

• 3-5 years of total experience, including at least 2 years at Senior Associate level or above in client or commercial finance within a media, creative, or PR agency environment
• Media agency experience is a strong advantage, as the seat needs someone who can get up to speed on media economics quickly
• Experience reading and applying contract terms in a client-facing setting
• Solid accounting fundamentals: month end, revenue recognition, forecasting, and budgeting
• Confident communicator who can handle challenging commercial conversations
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent professional experience

Compensation & logistics:

• Base salary: up to $115,000, plus bonus
• Benefits: medical, dental, and vision
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days per week in office, Manhattan
• Reports to the Director, Commercial Finance
