Tropicale Foods, LLC is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to drive profitability through disciplined financial analysis of commercial strategy, pricing, and product development. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Procurement, and Manufacturing Finance to deliver data-driven insights and optimize customer profitability and portfolio performance.
You will own Stage Gate financials, build product P&Ls, and lead trade promotion analytics to maximize ROI.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Commercial Finance Manager plays a critical role in driving profitable revenue growth by bringing financial discipline to commercial strategy, product innovation, and go-to-market decision making. This position serves as the primary finance business partner for Sales, Customer & Sales Strategy, Marketing, Research & Development, Procurement, and Manufacturing Finance, providing data-driven insights that optimize pricing, product portfolio, and customer profitability.
The Commercial Finance Manager owns the financial analysis supporting the Stage Gate product development process, from initial business case development through post-launch performance evaluation. This role develops robust product and customer P&Ls, evaluates margin performance across SKUs, customers, and packaging formats, performs sensitivity analyses on key cost drivers, and delivers actionable recommendations that support strategic growth initiatives. As the commercial finance function continues to evolve, this role will also lead the development of trade promotion and commercial investment analytics to improve return on investment and profitability.
Provide other ad hoc financial analysis support as needed; including but not limited to overall Finance process improvement, scenario modeling, risk assessment(s), month-end close and building KPI dashboards.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in: Finance/Business, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and progressive professional experience.
