Job summary

Snell & Wilmer’s Dallas office seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience to join the Commercial Finance practice group. The ideal candidate will have experience in due diligence, documentation, negotiation, and closing sophisticated lending transactions, including real estate and asset-backed loans.

Texas bar license is strongly preferred, but consideration will be given to candidates barred in other states who will sit for the Texas bar.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial finance and related transactions.
• Experience with due diligence, documentation, negotiation and closing sophisticated lending transactions.
• Exposure to real estate, commercial, securities and/or asset-backed loans is preferred.
• Broader transactional and bankruptcy experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all phases of commercial lending transactions from due diligence through closing.
• Prepare and review loan documentation and related agreements.
• Negotiate terms with borrowers, lenders and other stakeholders.
• Assist in securing bar admissions and coordinating with the firm's practice group.

Snell & Wilmer’s Dallas office seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience to join the Commercial Finance practice group. The ideal candidate will have experience in due diligence, documentation, negotiation, and closing sophisticated lending transactions, including real estate, commercial, securities and/or asset backed loans. Broader transactional and bankruptcy experience will also be considered. Excellent academic credentials and excellent writing skills are required. Participating in our local community is part of our credo and is expected of our team members. Texas bar license is strongly preferred, but consideration will also be given to candidates barred in other states, who will be expected to sit for the Texas bar.

This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses.
