Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. seeks a Commercial Finance Analyst in Temple, TX to partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance. You will develop pricing strategies, build financial models, and analyze profitability to guide customer growth and long-term profitability.

The role requires 1+ years in FP&A or pricing and strong Excel skills. On-site, with Day 1 benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a leading supply chain organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• 1+ years in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Pricing, Deal Desk, Financial Analysis, or related analytical role.
• Experience supporting financial modeling, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, or strategic business analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing complex financial analysis.
• Experience in supply chain, distribution, logistics, consumer products, wholesale, or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the financial partner for assigned customer segments and key accounts, providing profitability analysis, pricing support, and strategic recommendations.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support pricing decisions, forecasting, customer evaluations, and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze customer profitability, revenue, cost of goods sold, pricing, volume, and product mix to identify opportunities for growth and margin improvement.
• Evaluate commercial proposals, business opportunities, contract amendments, and customer economics to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor customer and contract performance by comparing actual results to forecasts, budgets, and profitability targets.
• Investigate performance variances, identify key business drivers, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
