Job summary

CLM Midwest is seeking experienced maintenance technicians to join our field team in the greater NW Chicago region. The role focuses on commercial maintenance across plumbing, electrical, and related trades, with an orientation toward problem-solving and hands-on repairs.

Technicians operate from home with 1–2 hour dispatch radius, complete work orders, and participate in on-call rotations. A plumbing license is preferred, with 2+ years of relevant experience and valid driving privileges.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial maintenance experience in commercial, multi-family, medical, or municipal settings.
• Preferred existing and valid plumbing license.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations and pass background checks.
• Flexible availability including overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Cover territory of approximately 1–2 hour radius from home.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting, tile work, drywall patching and repair.
• Communicate with support team via app to respond to work orders.
• Utilize troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs.
• Prepare job scope with time estimates and material requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
