Job summary

Find Great People | FGP is partnering with a well-established commercial construction organization to add an experienced Estimator / Sales Project Consultant to our Greenville, SC team. This role blends estimating expertise with business development and client relationship management to win profitable work in a high-growth market.

You will review plans, perform takeoffs, develop pricing, prepare bid packages, and pursue opportunities while building relationships with contractors and industry

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction estimating and related client-facing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs and bid documents.
• Established relationships in Greenville, Spartanburg and Anderson markets preferred.
• Proficiency with OST, QuickBid, Bluebeam and Excel.
• Strong sales, negotiation and business development skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects and owners.
• Review plans, specifications and bid documents for commercial projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings and related scope.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare bid proposals, budgets and scope letters.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits and walkthroughs.
• Negotiate project scope and pricing to protect profitability.
