Job summary

Ironmark Building Co. is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator to join our Phoenix-area team. The role focuses on calculating labor, equipment, and material costs for wood-frame and other commercial projects, reviewing drawings, and coordinating subcontractor bids.

You will manage bid invitations, assess bids, and present to clients, with emphasis on accuracy, deadlines, and strong communication with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related estimating experience on commercial construction projects (public and private).
• Experience with hard bids and wood-frame construction.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret plans/specs for bid scope and schedule.
• Takeoffs and estimates; meet bid deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel and On-screen Takeoff.

Responsibilities

• Calculate labor, equipment, and material costs for commercial projects and remodels.
• Review drawings/specifications to determine quantities and pricing.
• Coordinate subcontractor bids and prepare bid presentations.
• Communicate with bidders to ensure completeness of bids.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for qualified lists.
