Job summary

Old Republic Title is seeking a Commercial Escrow Officer to close commercial transactions across single-site and multi-site portfolios. You will prepare settlement statements, review escrow instructions, initiate wires, and ensure accurate posting and recording.

Responsibilities

• Close commercial transactions, prepare settlement statements and review escrow instructions.
• Initiate and approve wires, record documents, and maintain trial balance.
• Oversee escrow assistants and coordinate closing activities with underwriting and escrow staff.
• Manage post-closing functions and recordings, ensure timely funding and revenue tracking.
• Supervise staff as needed and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors.

WESTERN TITLE DIVISIONJob Description:A Commercial Escrow Officer is responsible for closing, commercial single-site transactions; commercial multi-site refinance and sale transactions; for accounting and escrow functions; for answering inquiries from customers and staff on pending transactions; and for maximum levels of customer satisfaction in the providing of title and closing services.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Closing of commercial transactions including but not limited to preparation of settlement statements, review of escrow instructions, adhering to local closing customs, initiating wires and approving wires as needed, recording documents, trial balance maintenance.Responsible for oversight of escrow assistant(s)Support Title and Escrow Administrator as neededWork with underwriting staff and Escrow Administrator on closing and post-closing functionsCoordinate local recordingsManage post-closing escrowsTransaction accountingAbility to work from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through FridayAbility to supervise assistants and support staff, as necessary;Ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple site projects and portfolios;Be responsible for the management of revenueMust be personable, positive and a professional representative of the CompanyRegular consistent attendance is requiredAbility to accept supervisionAbility to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.
