Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions in Boston is hiring Commercial Energy Consultants to meet with local business owners, review electricity and natural gas plans, and identify opportunities to reduce energy costs. Training and mentorship are provided to help you succeed from day one.

You’ll build relationships with clients, gain market knowledge, and advance toward larger portfolios with potential promotion to Account Manager and leadership roles as the company expands across markets.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face

Responsibilities

• Meet face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs
• Recommend competitive energy supplier options based on each customer's needs
• Build relationships with prospective commercial customers
• Learn our proven customer consultation process alongside experienced mentors
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (typically within a 30-mile radius of the office)
• Build the skills needed to take on larger customer portfolios and advance your career
