Job summary

Coastal Electric of Florida is seeking a Commercial Electrician to construct and maintain high-quality commercial and industrial electrical systems across the Jacksonville area. You will join a growing team with a family-like culture, with clear pathways to advance your technical skills and career.

You will install electrical systems, read complex blueprints, and ensure safety and NEC compliance while mentoring apprentices and coordinating with foremen and other trades to keep projects on

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Electrician.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Jacksonville area.
• Ability to read blueprints, one-line diagrams, and NEC specifications.
• Experience with EMT and rigid conduit installations.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: Journeyman certification.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, wiring, electrical equipment, fixtures, and control systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Execute installations in compliance with the NEC and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Plan daily work flows, estimate material needs, and meet timelines.
• Direct and mentor junior apprentices on-site to foster workmanship.
• Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
